Coaches

Khariton Zazhitskiy

Khariton Zazhitskiy was a member of Estonian National Team and Soviet Union National Team in 1982-1993. He became Estonian and USSR National Champion, World Cup finalist. As a coach, Khariton Zazhitskiy achieved a national and international success in Estonia, and USSR, coaching National Team members, representing their countries and World Championships and Olympics Games. Since 2008 Khariton works in The Woodlands, Texas and his students became USA Junior Team members, NCAA Champions, North American Cup and Junior Olympics medalists.

Georgi Zazitski

(Advisory coach) has had an illustrious career as an elite athlete and World renowned coach. As an elite epee fencer for the USSR, Coach Zazitski was a participant in numerous Olympic and World Championship teams, including attaining the title World Champion in 1969 and receiving an Olympic BRONZE Medal (team event) in the 1972 games. He was also a Grand Prix Charles Martel GOLD medalist (France 1969), the European Cup Champion 1968-1971, the USSR National Champion 1966-1968, and USSR Masters Winner. From 1983 through 1991, Coach Zazitski was the Estonian National Team head coach and the USSR National Team Coach. He was the coach of Olympic Champion and World Champions, multiple National Champions and Word Cup winners; he was also responsible for talent evaluation and team selection for the Soviet Union National Epee Team 1983-1991. In 1991, he became the head coach at the Bergen Fencing Club in Norway.

Summer Phillips

Began fencing at the age of 8. She began assisting her coach and learning coaching skills when she was only 16. As a fencer Summer was a US Division 1A finalist, Regional Junior Circuit Winner and represented USA at Cadet European circuit. Now her students are fencing Regional tournaments and National
Championships.
